FREDERICK FREEDOM CARR FAMILY

There appears to be a certain synergy between Fredrick's registered middle name and Dennis Carr's thoughts at about the time of Fredericks birth. At this time Dennis received his "Certificate of Remission". The Certificate of Remission was issued on 4.8.1888 - as per Convict Records.

The naming of Frederick as Frederick "Freedom" Carr was most likely a culmination of a dual celebration on Dennis Carrs behalf - A celebration of Dennis's freedom and the birth of a son.

Anna Wright has also advised that:

1. A person F. Carr. worked on the wharf around 1920. He apparently grew tomatoes and sold them during lean times.

2. A Celia Blanche Thomas married in the Murchison in 1910. Graham Stone, grandson of Frederick Freedom Carr advised that his grandmothers name was Blanche Celia Carr (Nee Thomas) and that his mother Celia, was named after his grandmother. ( Is this Reg Carrs mother as Reg advised that his mother was Celia Balanche and father Frederick Patrick Carr). It is probable that this Celia Blanche Thomas is the same person who is the daughter of Francis (Frank) Thomas and Beulah Thomas (nee Osborne). If so then see Osborne Family Tree as another Carr descendent will have married anoter Osborne descendent.

There is also reference to an F Carr within the book "A Life of its Own", by Mary Albertus Bain OP , at page 150, as follows;

"Price sold his land in the early 1920s to Wm Webber and left for the Goldfields but perished in the land. Webber continued the tomato growing as a sideline during lean times at the wharf, as did other waterside workers, amongst them were T Miller, W Bosley, F Carr and J Brown." . (This was most likely Frederick Freedom Carr?)

Frederick Freedom Carr was otherwise known by his direct descendents as Frederick Patrick Carr.
